Fall in Georgia

Happy Saturday! It's a beautiful day here in Athens, Georgia! Wherever you may be I hope you are enjoying your day as well! My sweetheart husband woke up early this morning and took these pictures in our backyard, aren't they just beautiful? This is my favorite time of year, I'm sure going to miss being outside in just a few weeks. I love garden statues, planters, and garden benches, how about you?
The day after Thanksgiving the Christmas tree goes up...I cannot wait, I just love how warm and romantic the house looks with all  the twinkling lights and candles burning both in the house and in the windows. I think I'm going to put up 2 trees this year 1 formal in Burgundy and greens and of course the white tree with all the wonderful pink ornaments. I will post some pics just as I get the house done, I'm really looking forward to seeing all the wonderful blog pictures of your homes decorated for the holidays!
