Baroque Style

I wanted to do something a little different for this post I love the baroque Style, I decided to share some of my favorites!

I just love this cherub but as you all know I love all cherubs!

Don't you just love the ornate detail?

Just love all the black in this...

Replacements.com

What a great idea to use a planter as a cooler....

I just love this table...

Love this bathroom...

There is something about this black and white design that speaks to me, what do you think?
I know this was a bit weird for me as a blog post but like I said they all inspire me. I hope you enjoyed the as much as I did!!!

Lorene that cherub on stand takes my breath away! I'd be thinkin' to myself "how long do I need to eat mac-n-cheese for this one?LOL! And I have to say I love every one of your inspiration pictures! Black and white are the colors I most often wear. And girlfriend put a trumeau anywhere and I'm gonna want it! *winks* So putting one in a bathroom is brilliant IMHO. I'm so glad you gave me my "Lorene" fix my friend! Vanna

Oh my goodness! I have two of those statues on pillars on each side of Gracie's daybed! I have the table too! Craigslist!
I also have a very similar planter in my sunroom that we use for shoes!
We were meant to be friends!

Hello Lorene,

I love the inspirational pics, is the cherub yours?
The detail on the (spoon/fork?) is wonderful, I love silver, so its one of my favorites! The retro lady is beautiful as well. The bathroom is a dream come true!

Hi Lorene, Of course I love the cherub! LOL! Love the silverware pattern, too, but I think you would really like a discontinued pattern by Reed & Barton called "Love Disarmed."

As far as I am concerned, it's the most beautiful silver pattern EVER! It has an Art Nouveau-style Venus and Cupid, and Venus has stolen Cupid's bow from him (hence, "love disarmed"). You can go here to see a great detail of the pattern http://www.replacements.com/showroom/sterling/images/rdslod_f2tallx.jpg - click to enlarge it, you will be glad you did. Isn't it gorgeous?!

Best,

Kimberly

I can't help but wonder how life is in the great state of GA? One of my most favorites. We were lucky enough to have lived in Marietta back in the 90's. We had the most beautiful springs and falls. I miss the south and all the friendly people. Enjoy it all for me.
Thank you for your visit, I loved it, Char
